Quite simply, MayosMusic the place to go for guitar care. Kurt is awesome! Very friendly and knows his stuff well. The consultation and estimate was very comprehensive. The work was masterful and quick. I had a beat up strat that buzzed and couldn't hold tune. Kurt worked his magic and the next day the old strat was ready to be picked up. This guitar has probably never sounded better! If you are on his side of town and you need someone to care for your instruments, there's no better place!

Kurt is unbelievably patient and knowledgeable. I have been taking lessons for a couple of months now and have progressed quickly. He was able to identify the gaps in playing and is helping to fill in the areas I need help. I had him tune up my 30+ year old guitar. It has never played this well, it was like having a brand new guitar. I was ready to buy a new one, and am holding off, I can't believe its the same guitar. I would highly recommend and have gladly done so.

I recently purchased a new bass and could tell that it needed a good set up. I contact Kurt that evening and was about able to meet with him the next day. When We met he gave the bass a thorough inspection and walked me through the work that needed to be done. He also suggested that the bass be shielded to eliminate a really bad buzz. He was upfront about what NEEDED immediate attention vs. what he simply recommended. I ended going with all of his recommendations, but appreciated the fact that he didn’t try to up sell me on unnecessary repairs. I also love the fact that he was able to complete the work in a couple of days. The sound and feel are A+++ and the buzz is now non existent . Kurt is knowledge, courteous, professional and very good at what he does. He’s gained a customer for life in my and I would recommend him to anyone!
