  The lady that served us was amazing. She even gave us some fruit she grew at home. I absolutely recommend this place if sushi is what you seek and not alcohol cause everything I ordered they didn't have alcohol wise????

  We just came from San Diego on vacation. Passing through to Arizona to see family on our way back to Texas. We visited two places on the west coast because we wanted good coast sushi after living in a "mostly" land locked state.......
  
  Long story short. Those places were mediocre and a big disappointment for sushi from the coast. Sushi San blew both those restaurants out of the water and we left more satisfied than in California.
  
  If you want awesome sushi at a decent price while supporting a small family owned business, go here.

  Fresh sushi! Portions are nice sized. The owners are Korean and they offer more interesting dishes than you'll find in the typical Sushi restaurant. I really like Korean Barbecue. My friends and I will be back next weekend!

  The staff was accommodating for a large party. The sushi was tasty. The boat is awesome and reasonably priced. We all had a good time.

  I have to say, this is by far one of the best sushi places I've been to in the East valley. It's very "hole-in-the-wall' and you'll most likely not think much of it if you're not looking for it. The Arizona roll was pretty good, and the Las Vegas roll was actually amazing. The Cardinal roll was the most interesting of the rolls I tried, it has multiple types of fish in it, and you can taste each fish individually, even though it's in the same roll. Sushi San is a restaurant I can definitely see myself making a regular hang out spot to enjoy with fellow sushi lovers.
