La Piazza Al Forno

Probably the best Neapolitan pizza outside of Naples. I know that sounds crazy, but the technique speaks for itself. The crust alone, is stuff of legends. All the ingredients are just like you'd find in Italy. It's truly a magical experience.

This place has THE BEST calamari I’ve ever tasted! This restaurant is small and clean.

It was a bit out of the way for where I was staying, but this place is a hidden jewel in Glendale. I picked it because it was well rated & I was definitely impressed by the quality, price and taste of the woodnoven pizza. They have homemade mozzarella too!

Amazing hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. Very traditional vibe with great service. The bread is to die for. The drink selection is a bit limited, serving only bottled beers. One of our favorite places in town.

It's no coincidence that as the first bite of this heavenly pizza entered my mouth the words, "and I think to myself, what a wonderful world" Were being sung by ol' Louis Armstrong in the background. You couldn't be more right Lou. This pizza makes everything negative in the world slowly disappear as you ease into the perfection that is this perfectly cooked soft cheesy flavorful slice of heaven.
