His actual appointment is usually quick but he has no issue spending more time in the room to listen to any new or problematic issues. The wait time to see him in the office is quick. “Referred for ptosis surgery. Very cautious regarding my cardiovascular history to insure a positive surgical outcome. Surgery went smoothly with excellent preop preparative care. Minimal anesthesia during surgery with short post operative recovery period. Followed post op instructions EXACTLY and had no bruising and no infection.. Treating the eyelid scar with vitamin E is important starting 2 weeks after surgery. Office staff were very pleasant with excellent advice regarding the two week period after surgery. Stitches are removed after 1 week Must avoid moisture on eye at all costs during the first week—including perspiration. During second week indoor endurance exercise is ok however the wound remains vulnerable to trauma and infection, so no hiking, swimming, showering head, etc. Lots of friendly counseling by office staff and Dr Chen about these issues. Overall excellent outcome!”

“I go to Family Practice Associates and Dr. Julie Best is my personal care physician. I think they spend adequate time with their clients and are willing to answer any questions you may have. The wait time is typical Dr. time nothing horrible and sometimes your in the room longer than others, but that just depends how busy they are. I would recommend checking them out for yourself.”

“Dr. Valdivia is an outstanding gastroenterologist. I relied on Dr. Valdivia and his team to perform colonoscopies on me in 2016 and again in 2019 and I was very impressed each time by his professionalism and empathetic care of his patients. At the conclusion of each colonoscopy, Dr. Valdivia provides the patient with colorized results and he explains the results of the procedure so that the patient understands. Anyone who is due for a colonoscopy would do well to consult Dr. Valdivia and his team.”

“Dr. Kaur is a detail oriented and efficient endocrinologist who leaves no stone unturned in treating my hypothyroidism. I get blood work, ultrasounds, regular med checks, etc. She's a great specialist, and I'm glad I came to her for a second opinion (a non-specialist wanted me to go off my meds for several months so I could go through a test I knew I didn't need; Dr. Kaur insisted I stay on my meds & confirmed my suspicions that the test would be pointless) and then got to stay.”
