Great park with a couple fun lines. Bigger lines are due for a dig session and if one is in the works someone let me know and I'll be there. This is a good spot for all levels of riders. Either fine tune some skills on the pump track, session on the bigger line with others, or bring a chair and watch the fun. Berms are well maintained and not loose. Pull in just before the school and go all the way down and park by the ball fields. Well lit area and plenty of parking with water fountains. A little park down past the fields next to the bike park. Overall great little spot to ride.
Nice trail system, loose rocks but fun
So recently visited this bike park in Estrella. It's located in a beautiful area of the southwest valley in a great little community park. The overall set up of the park is really good. Lots to ride for all levels of skill, from beginner to expert levels of riding. My one major complaint is there appears to be no one doing a great job of upkeep and grooming of the jumps and pump tracks. The surprising thing is it appears the city has installed water and supplied hoses for keeping up the jumps. Maybe there isn't a strong locals presence that cares or wants to put in the time to keep everything in top shape. Just a few people with brooms and shovels to sweep and patch would do wonders for the jumps. Overall this wouldn't keep me from riding here from time to time. However if the jumps aren't kept up, in time this place may take more time than it's worth to fix everything and keeping it running the way it should. Thanks to Estrella for giving the community a great little spot to ride bikes.
This public and free bike track offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses. One beginner course. 3 intermediate courses. 2 Advanced courses. It opens at sunup, and closes at sundown.
Huge props to the guys who built this. Lots of work and dedication shown here. This place is awesome and really well built. Something for everyone to ride! One thing I would recommend is more signage to promote wearing a helmet. Pack of 20 kids there when I showed up and half of them were riding with no gear. Would hate for a place like this to be put in question for some kid who thinks helmets aren't cool. if you can afford a bike, you can afford a helmet.
