(March 7, 2022, 12:54 am)This nature center is located to your right as soon as you pay your fee at the gate, and I love how the nature center gives you easy access to the other trails. You can park at the center (which has I would say reasonably ample parking- medium sized lot), and then from behind the nature center, you can take the dirt trail that cuts to the Quail Trailhead lot and continue onto Quail Trail-- which then connects with other trails like Saddle, Baseline, and Rainbow.
The center itself is clean and has lots of helpful maps in the front. There is also an exhibit of two live animals- a snake and I think a lizard. They also had a rock display and mini exhibits about the desert. Right outside, there are picnic tables and some artwork too.
There's everything you need. Very satisfied- 5 stars!
