Spero House has been a life saver for our daughter and our family! They not only promote recovery, but self-worth, responsibility, accountability and independence! My daughter has also found lifelong friends there who genuinely care for each other and emotionally support each other. Sheri and Mercedes are great role models for the young women there. I would recommend Spero House without reservation!
The Spero House saved my life! Sobriety is what you make of it and at the Spero House women of all ages have the opportunity to grow, build and strengthen relationships, and live in a safe environment while learning necessary life skills. Spero is dedicated to helping women create a strong foundation in their recovery and preparing them for a better life. The houses are beautiful and homey and rent is very affordable. The owners take pride in the success of the women around them and are passionate about recovery, while offering all the necessary resources to help women get back on their feet and plan for the future. Thank you Sherie and Christina for believing in me when I had trouble believing in myself. I would recommend the Spero House to any woman serious about her program of recovery.
I absolutely LOVED living here. They dont "demand" money. Its a service offered and there is a cost. There isnt a price i wouldn't pay to get sober. I found who i was in this environment with the help of the staff. It is structured and thank god it was. I was held accountable, Sherie even trained me to manage the house. They offer help finding jobs, ways to serve, rides to meetings...but i had to pull my weight too. You know just like you do in the real world. I have friends for life in the "Spero House". They tought me how to live and love myself again. If by chance i didnt get the results i hoped for...i can honestly only blame myself. But i did. LOVE this place. LOVE the people.

Spero house's first house, the Edgewood House, was blessed in the memory of Monica Wallin. Monica will always be remembered for her caring Resident get to enjoy the privacy and security of their own room while still enjoying the benefits sober living. Each room is furnished with it's own closet.
