He's the best in the right guy to work and transmission

I would highly recommend this shop. Got my 2006 crown vic transmission rebuilt here. Other shops (big corporations) wouldn't give me any clue or idea on what was happening even if I tried to explain it to them. Ivy's transmissions listened to what my problems was and told me what it could actually be and when they dug into it they found exactly that problem. My car was out in 3 days. I am a believer in mom and pop shops and I would come back again for any of my 3 vehicles. The 57miles from my house is worth it for the honesty they deliver.

I've used Ivy's Transmission in Mesa since the 1980s when Iverson (sp) owned it and Sal later became the owner operator and service technician. Sal rebuilt transmissions for my Suburban, Jeep and Honda's. I've seen him completely disassemble and rebuild my GMC 400 transmission. I used it to tow my travel trailer for years. I trusted his work with my family in the vehicles. Newer transmissions are complex, so even the best shops may need to rework a repair from time to time. It happened once to me but Sal found the secondary problem and took care of it. Sal is competent, affordable and in my experience with him, he is better than the alternative of a $3,000.00 new trans in most cases. Especially if you don't have an unlimited repair budget.
