It is a shame that the poor reviews are based on his staff and not Dr. Iskandar's work. Dr. Iskandar fixed a previously degraded surgery in my neck. His work and attentiveness to detail are great- he even spotted the problem issues on my old MRI [My previous surgeon dismissed me and wouldn't fix my issue back in 2012]. Dr. Iskandar repaired the shoddy work from the Barrows surgeon. 3 days later and my recovery is easier than my previous experience. My tingling/numbness went away and immediately upon waking up from surgery I felt MUCH better. Dr. Iskandar truly is an amazing neurosurgeon.

Dr. Iskandar helped me when I had a ruptured DISC in my neck. Always seemed caring and was certainly helpful. Clearly explained my options for treatment and helped me to feel at ease. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

I was able to review my condition with Dr. Iskandar in the month of September. I was experiencing debilitating pain in my neck and had an emergency MRI as I was unable to sleep . Upon receiving the results of the MRI, Dr. Iskandar was able to accurately explain my condition to me and set out realistic expectations for treatment. I most appreciated that he listened well, he was empathetic to my pain, and he didn't immediately jump to surgery. Having seen other doctors in the past, some will go straight to surgery without explaining the possibilities of negative effects down the road. Being so young (29), the Dr. told me that surgery could be an option, but he didn't recommend it because it would be likely that I would end up with further pain and surgeries years later. He could have easily told me an operation was necessary, but he did what was right and recommended less invasive treatments first. I highly recommend this experienced doctor and his sound judgment to anyone with a spine condition or spine pain.

Saw Dr. Iskandar for my chronic back pain. Had an MRI done. In my follow up appointment, he went over the MRI and showed me and my wife what was causing me pain. He patiently explained the results and throughly went over all my options, answering all our questions. My appointments were on time and the office staff was easy to interact with. I would highly recommend Dr. Iskandar to anyone with back pain.
