  Dr. Shumway is very thoughtful and thorough with his patients. I personally came to him with a very unorthodox medication array, and my pill load was massive. My blood sugars were all over place and far from controlled. He made some adjustments and helped me reduce the pill load significantly and my sugars are under control for the first time in a long time. We love to Direct Care Model, and we save $$ by using insurance benefits as needed, but seeing him with no copay is amazing.

  Dr. Shumway is my Primary Care Giver. During my visits with him and in our communication by phone or internet he has been attentive, responsive, diligent and competent in diagnosing and recommending a treatment for the disorder. He has been accessible and replies quickly. As I am aged his care is of the utmost importance. I would recommend him highly for you and your family.

  Dr Shumway is the first doctor I've gone to that seems to actually care. He takes his time to listen to any and all issues you have and helps develop a plan with you. He doesn't push unnecessary treatments or tests. He is a great doctor!

  Dr. Shumway is a fantastic family medicine physician. He is very kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. He takes time with each of his patients to get to know them on a personal level and then will thoroughly discuss your medical needs. Through my experience with Dr. Shumway, he is also great at finding low prices on medications and lab work and really takes the time to make sure you understand and are involved in your health care. He is also great with children and has been very helpful in connecting us with clinics where we go for free vaccinations.

  Dr. Shumway is one of the best Medical Dr’s I have encountered in the past 10 years. Apart from being knowledgable about medicine and health care practices, he truly loves what he does and he takes pride in perfecting his craft. He is a great listener and is very thorough with his patients. His monthly health plans are affordable for everyone and allow each patient to have a great one-on-one experience with Dr. Shumway.
