Wallace Gary S MD

Most doctors that I have been to will hear one word of my concern and diagnose me without understanding the issue. Doctor Wallace acts like a friend and asks in depth questions to get to the base of your issues! Amazing

I first saw Dr. Wallace in the 90s. He was an excellent primary care physician, the best I have ever had. He was sorely missed when we moved to Portland. We later moved back to Arizona, but to Tucson. After long waits for appointments, after misdiagnoses, after ineffective prescriptions from various physicians in Tucson I was so discouraged with the quality of doctors I decided to drive the two hours required just to see Dr. Wallace whenever I needed a PCP. He is that good in my opinion.

I've been going to Dr. Wallace for over 10 years. He listens, he explains, and obviously cares about his patients and is open to my thoughts and concerns regarding any care issues that come up. I like how respectfully candid he is with his recommendations, because doctors at times need to tell us things we don't necessarily want to hear. Don't even hesitate to see Dr. Wallace.

Dr. Wallace was recommended by my sister in law. He has been very attentive to our needs (i get chronic sinus infections and have high blood pressure). We are always able to either get an appointment the day we call or for the next day. His staff is wonderful--and we love his assistant. My husband recently went in for one thing, and Dr. Wallace was super proactive about running tests to rule things out. His assistant personally called around until she found an imaging place that had an appointment for my husband (we thought he might have cancer), and when the results came in, because it was the weekend (friday after hours) and it was something of such a serious nature, Dr. Wallace personally called my husband to tell him the results. We feel lucky to have a doctor like him, looking out for us.
