“For the most part the care is excellent. The kitchen crew could do better on their choice of food for diabetics and preferences of the patients. My husband doesn't eat eggs and they keep serving him eggs. He can't eat them so on those mornings he doesn't get any protein. The transportation department could do better on verifying doctor's appointments and transporting patient to the right place at the right time.”

I was seen with very little wait, Dr. Josh Vella was patient with me even though I was late because Maps' directions were wrong. I was still filling out paperwork in the consultation room when he was ready to see me but he went to see other patients while waiting for the information I had to provide him. Get the patients in and out through our doors, and bill the insurance. However, I changed my opinion after I received a referral to East Valley Ophthalmology. I went, and it has been remarkable since I entered their care. Everyone is courteous and caring, and I have yet to meet an employee with a negative disposition. The eye care professionals at EVO are knowledgeable and thorough. My doctor is awesome. He has done an incredible job keeping me informed and collecting the necessary measurements of my cornea to help ensure my surgery is successful. They did the necessary tests and sent him home with pain pills to control the pain until he could get an appt. with Dr. Grossklaus. Now, it's a week later and his pain has hit with a vengeance. The nice lady that answered the phone was very professional and told us to come in to see the Dr. right away. The staff jumped through hoops to get the records from the emergency room and to schedule the surgery for the next weekday. We were very impressed with Dr. Grossklaus and his staff.
