“We're winter visitors to this area but one place regularly on our list is American Discount. Most prices are far less than other grocers. Some products are out of date but the store guarantee helps us be comfortable. We also volunteer at the local food bank and they give us a range for "good" food well beyond the expiry. People are always friendly there and choices are pretty reasonable. I strongly recommend them!”

“Adam was very easy to work with. We needed a new mattress and had gone to all the furniture stores in the East valley. We honestly settled for an OK $1000 mattress from the Dump. Only problem was the Dump sales guy was pushy and when we went for the mattress a few days later they were sold out. Forget that! So I started my search on the internet and came across this place. We figured what the heck it's right down the street. Appointment easily made and we bought a bed 15 minutes after walking into the place. Adam even does delivery for a very small fee. No pushy sales guy just a genuine dude with a small business. We even got a better bed for less money and a 10 year warranty! Go see Adam before you spend too much time on BS like the Dump.”

“We came to check on what they had to offer in carpet and pricing. They occupy an old gas station that’s been upgraded to a neat little carpet store. The guys loading carpet out front were really friendly, letting us know where is good to park. It’s right on the corner too :) We were met with big hellos from Ed Martinez who was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with us. Ed gave us some ideas and costs and time frames too! Came back the next week because we didn’t find another place that had the carpet we wanted nor the price we felt was fair. Ed was there along with one of the owners, everyone was so friendly and happy to help us. Pat, one of the owners came out and measured the rooms next morning and afterwards we went back to the store picked out the carpet. We had our carpet installed the next day! The installer, Winston, was very good and friendly too! He did a great job and we are very happy with the whole process too! Three more rooms to get done and we will be going back to A&P!”

“Want to learn something new? I recommend getting the merit badge booklets from here. They are GREAT if you are home schooling. In fact I was just in a bar recently and I went up to this group of people who were snapping photos. I walked up and said "Hey! Let me help ya'll out! I have the photography merit badge". They happily obliged and gave me an outdated I-phone and I worked by magic. All thanks to the Boy Scouts of America.”

“This board game store is the best!! It’s located right next to the movie theatre. The atmosphere is really welcoming. I really enjoyed the vibe here. The store owner is super nice! They can help you hunt down your favorite games if they do not have them they will get them if possible! Also their pricing is lower or about the same as amazon but I will keep my business with a local store due to the friendliness and customer service they offer here. It’s a drive for me but I don’t mind driving. The store has plenty of games for you to demo before purchasing and also the people who go here during game nights, are very welcoming. Overall I definitely recommend everyone to check it out. Kid friendly since I took my 3 year old and they did not mind. Thank you again to Yoshi for recommending this hidden gem to us!
