This place is wonderful and amazing!
My child has been in their PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) for two days and I can already tell that this place is a huge cut above anything else we have tried. They have nurses, nurse practitioners, therapists and a psychiatrist ALL ON STAFF EVERY DAY. This means they are helping the kids all day every day they are there. I got to talk privately with the psychiatrist Dr. Zetl for about 30 minutes on day one and loved her! If you have any experience with these types of facilities/programs then you probably know how rare this is.
I will update with another review when she is discharged, but I doubt I will feel any different. I am so impressed!
Back story - my child has been struggling with anxiety, depression and anxiety related school refusal for 4 years and has been in therapy 3 of those years. Getting help has been so much more difficult than it should be. We tried a different PHP and they did nothing while there, total joke. Two years ago. Then we tried a residential treatment center in FT. Worth (TERRIBLE) and I had to take my child home after 6 days because they made a serious medication error while she was in their care. A few weeks ago we tried inpatient again. It was marginally better but still absolutely unacceptable in my opinion.
Every client referral and referral source I've recommended to BPA has nothing but wonderful things to report back to me about the excellence in clinical care and their positive experience with the BPA team. The facility is beautiful, calming and inviting.
So happy with the service I received at the McKinney location. The facility is nice and inviting and the staff was so incredibly helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to help their loved ones
Daisy Mtn. Vet took wonderful care of our previous lab for years until she passed two years ago. Now have another lab puppy and found the new building outstanding, with separated areas for pets in the lobby. Staff is wonderful and patient with questions. Dr. Young is, well, Dr. Young. She is spectacular. Caring, patient, skilled...everything you could ask for in a Vet. Couldn't be happier with our puppy experiences and still glowing from the care of the old girl we finally had to send over the Rainbow Bridge. Love this place!
My husband and I are first time dog parents. We recently brought our dog in to get neutered. Although a routine procedure, we were nervous and had a bunch of questions. The staff really took the time to answer each one of our questions and were so patient with us. They made us feel extremely comfortable leaving our pup in their care. Would highly recommend!
They are sincere with high integrity. The care my little ones get from Dr Young and her assistants is magical.
We had an emergency with our dog. Daisy Mountain Veterinary Hospital was able to get him in that day. The issue ended up to be a cancerous mass. They called and explained fully what was going on and the treatment plan. They were aware of the cost and discussed that with me. They were able to perform the surgery that day, then called to follow up with us and our dog the next day. When they got pathology back, they called and were thorough in their description and took time to ensure all questions were answered. They were caring and empathetic. I was very happy in their approach to care and how they dealt with me and took care of our dog.
