(July 5, 2019, 1:15 pm)Quite simply unique. Perhaps one of the best known hikes in Phoenix, Camelback mountain is a strenuous climb. Two trails to the top exist; Cholla (easier), and Echo Canyon (harder). Many people are rescued off each trail annually, often by helicopter. There is usually at least one fatality per year. Any time the weather is nice, parking is terrible. There are sometimes bees and the occasional snake. Despite all this, thousands of people hike the mountain every year, and from sun up to sun down there are always multiple people on the trail (even in summer). In fact, the regulars are so devoted they carry a Christmas tree to the top of the mountain every year. There is so much to tell of this mountain, its trails, and the people who hike it, one review can't do it justice. If you're thinking of going, read up on it and remember to bring water.

If you have major issue with heights you may want to pass on this hike. It is challenging in spots for sure. -

(May 19, 2019, 10:27 pm)I have done difficult than this one before though its been a while. It was early morning hike though it was bit crowded but that does not let down the beauty of this hiking, its challenging, need some power and will.
Make sure that you park the car in right place, you might have to walk a mile or so to reach to trailhead. And yes, do not forget to bring enough water. 32 ounce is not enough.
