Peoria Pawn

I was a little skeptical about purchasing Metal Detecting equipment from a pawn shop, as I was ill-impressed with pawn shops I had frequented in Florida. But . . . after finding a fantastic listing on Ebay and then to my surprise, finding the item was only 20 minutes from my home, I paid Peoria Pawn a visit (not to be confused with Super Pawn located in the same shopping center). To my sheer delight, I was met with two very professional men, J.T. and the owner Dennis. Let me tell you, these gentlemen are as honest as the day is long ! I ended up purchasing two mint condition Minelab Metal detectors, models 700 and 900 at a fantastic price ! I cannot recommend this shop any more highly, this shop oozes integrity and value. I will definitely become a repeat customer. Thanks J.T. and Dennis for such a fine and professional experience.

P.S. I went back to Peoria Pawn the following day to purchase a Henry AR-7 .22 Caliber Survival Rifle. I purchased this rifle in new condition at a significant savings had I gone to one of the big box stores. Dennis was very knowledgeable about the rife and I even bought a brick of Remington Ammo to continue to support this fine shop.

I visited 3 other pawn shops and they all low balled me for my items. One place I asked for $50 more and said we would deal. They became offended so I left. I entered Peoria Pawn and was immediately treated with dignity and respect. In fact they offered me more money on my 2 items. I will always use Peoria Pawn should the need arise again. I highly recommend Peoria Pawn. I found good people that treated me very well. Today I paid my debt and picked up my items. Again, a dignified experience. Thank you Peoria Pawn.

The young lady behind counter was friendly, and she helped me pick out a Louis Vuitton handbag for my wife’s bday gift. My wife was very surprised when she opened present. I will also be going back for a firearm when I have some more money. They have a great selection to choose from.

Very friendly staff and great prices! I was helped by Stephanie; she was knowledgeable and very funny! I purchased a PS4 with controller and cables. She even tested the console in shop. After visiting 2 previous stores I noticed Peoria Pawn was much more friendly. I would recommend this store to all.
