(February 11, 2020, 11:46 pm)I have never done any kind of wrestling or jiu jitsu and this place made feel comfortable from day one ! the instructors are detailed and very patient , the people and staff are the best , everyone will help you with anything and answer question you have , they all treat you as family and always happy to see you! I cant say enough how much they help in the gym and in regular life ! try it once and you will be hooked! coach Jow jow coach gabriel and professor are the best!!! thank you !!!

He had won multiple world championships and is the brother of former UFC fighter Ricardo Almeida. Professors Gabriel, Efrain, and Chris are awesome too. Great training partners, great environment, friendly staff. Best martial arts school I've ever attended. It really is a family. GB! ????

(April 11, 2019, 7:00 pm)If I told y'all that a wonderful place with some of the most dedicated and nicest people was here in the Valley of The Sun, you would probably think I'm lying. The location exists, it's a bit north, but it's there.
From day one, I was treated with not only respect, but all around kindness.
My interactions with the professors and staff are always smooth and very organic.
Everyone is happy to be here and it keeps bringing me back.
I have never had any issues here and feel like I'm getting what I need to better my journey.
I would recommend this academy to everyone.
P.S. The jiujitsu isn't bad either... -

(April 10, 2019, 10:44 pm)I have had the opportunity and privilege to train at Gracie Barra North Phoenix for over 4 months now. I can not say or speak more highly of the experience of training here. Gracie Barra is truly a family we train hard and have a lot of fun doing it! Jujitsu for me has been an amazing experience and has allowed me to apply these lessons learned to other areas of my life.
