Staff are friendly & pleasant which means they are happy to work there. Dr. Schadlu is vibrant, positive, let's get your eyes checked out to see what we can do to help, kind of guy. Love speaking with him so professional but relaxing at the same time. That way you don't feel anxious about the procedure he might have to do.

I visited this practice for a follow-up inspection after eye surgery. Really liked the doctor. I had previously worked with his colleague and had never met him. He was patient with my questions and enthusiastic in his responses. The reason I did not give a 5-star review is twofold. One, the assistants/technicians never introduce themselves, and this is a pet peeve of mine. They know my name but I have to ask for theirs. I wish more doctors would train their assistants to either introduce themselves or to at least wear name tags. Two, the wait was far too long. When I arrived for my appointment there were already10 people ahead of me in the waiting room. It gave me the feel of an assembly line practice. I certainly expected to wait while my eyes were dilated, but never anticipated the whole appointment would take an hour, especially since my time with the doctor was only 5 minutes at best. The front desk personnel were very friendly and personable, and very efficient. Kudos to them.
