When my sister in Phoenix passed away unexpectedly, I was on the East Coast and facing challenges in getting to Arizona. I knew her desire was to be cremated, so I asked the hospital where she passed for funeral home recommendations. After calling 2, I called Whitney and Murphy. I was immediately impressed with the professionalism, compassion, and helpfulness. Barb was always available to answer my questions and help me through the process. I was able to handle everything remotely and with ease. Whitney and Murphy even contacted me twice in the months since to see how I was handling my grief and to offer their support and words of comfort. I highly recommend this company!

My experience with Whitney and Murphy funeral home was the best it could be for such a difficult time as we had just lost our dad and a huge piece to our family. They really went above and beyond and showed so much compassion for my family and made special accommodations for us without any question. We were so fortunate to have Shawn Murphy & the entire Staff at Whitney Murphy Funeral Home handle our son David’s Funeral arrangements. In a very difficult time in our lives because of the tragic death of our son, Shawn & Whitney Murphy made the entire experience a lot more less difficult for our entire family. Shawn was the first to call when they received my boy & assured us that David was home with them & being taken care of. It brings me to tears as to how much that meant to us. From explaining and setting up the entire Rosary / Viewing, Funeral Mass & Burial, Shawn & Staff did such a beautiful job. They also were very helpful in helping us select & pricing everything from the coffin selection, Flowers, Prayer cards & other items that were needed. The Transportation & Escort Services were also well done. I would highly recommend Shawn & the entire Whitney Murphy Staff to handle anyone in need of having to plan for the proper care of a loved one. I am so amazed with the way they took care of us and we as a family were comfortable & confident that our son would be taken care of and given the best care. Me and my family would like to thank Whitney & Murphy for their outstanding help in caring for our Mom and for helping us arrange a very beautiful service. They always kept us In touch if any problem arise. Al and his staff are very kind ,helpful and caring people I thank God he put Whitney & Murphy in our path.
