Aunt Chiladas Squaw Peak

A Phoenician favorite--- family friendly restaurant and cantina. Indoor and outdoor seating. Festive with good Mexican fare and a long list of margaritas to choose from. Parking lots are limited so even though it looked super busy we didn't have to wait for a table. Make sure your little ones take a bag from the treasure chest.

The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. They had home made chips and chunky delicious salsa. We have the guacamole appetizer and it was very fresh and well made. I had a. Hick and spinach burrito bowl which was very filling and tasty. The kids really enjoyed and it has lots of great outdoor seating.

Two of us had lunch on the patio . Not our first time here..but it's been a few years. We weren't disappointed. It was a beautiful afternoon...and the relaxed atmosphere, breeze, birds chirping and shade trees made it a wonderful experience . Our meals were flavorful and substantial. I had the pork burrito enchilada style ($2 more)...and took half home.
We like that Aunt Chiladas is off the main drag.. and a bit secluded. Great place to take winter visitors.

Great family atmosphere, plenty of seating but be aware the kitchen gets backed up with too many orders. You'll have to wait a while just to order. The staff is attentive and they try to accommodate you.. plus Margaritas were good.
