“Amazing Ballpark Terrific facility to catch an ASU baseball game. Ballpark is kept in amazing condition, staff is friendly and there really doesn’t seem to be a bad seat in the house. Prices for tickets are reasonable, though concessions are a bit pricey (can bring your own water in a clear bag) but hey, your supporting the Sun Devils program.”

“Amazing place. So many varieties of desert plants. The place is maintained very well. There are shady spots to sit and relax with water features. Along the paths, you will find descriptions of some of the more unique plant varieties and other interesting trivia. It's geared for short visits and long visits. There are free docent lead tours and interesting things for children and adults throughout. It's not cheap for a one time visit, but their yearly membership has a lot of benefits and perks. Two visits equal the approx cost of a year membership. I recommend the place and I suggest a hat, loose clothing and a full water bottle. =]”

“A MUST GO attraction if you are in the Phoenix area. Gorgeous desert garden, with various plants & cacti blooming. Very interesting & educational to learn about an entirely different ecosystem. Lunch at the cafe was delightful w/ delicious salads, etc. & great service. Look for the Chihuly art glass installations in the garden around cafe. Be sure to go early, take hats, sunblock & water if there during heat.”

“This area is best accessed from the 5802 E. Indian School Rd. parking lot. Climb up the stairs to see the SRP Energy signs, then take the stairs down again. By the falls, there were some concrete cubes (presumably seats that you can sit on), however it was too wet to sit on any of them. The falls have 2 sections- one is a gentle cascade that falls over a rock wall and then in front you have to 2 falls that face each other on opposite ends of the bank. The falls were the huge waterfall I was expecting, but still a nice view. Downsides were- the area by the falls was wet, looked drab in colors, and the water fountains did not look too clean to drink from.”

“Great parking spot. Plenty of spaces here and very easy to find from the street. Only downside is there are not much shaded spots, but that's not too much of an issue if you get here early morning. From this parking lot, you can either go to take a quick lap through the small park nearby, walk up the stairs to see falls, or even continue walking along the canal trail. Lots of walking areas to choose from. :)”

“The park consists of 2 sections. The first is the grassy area. it has a small concrete sidewalk loop that goes around the area that takes probably 10 or so minutes to finish. They also have a nice sand volleyball court and tennis court. The bathrooms were locked in the morning when I came... around 7 am. The second section is the canal trail that you can access by taking the stairs. The trail extends on for quite a bit either way you go- left or right. Ran into quite a few joggers trying to beat the morning heat. The canal follows and is right next to the main road. Water is calm and views are nice in the morning. Wouldn't want to be stuck out there though when the sun fully comes out though- no shade.”

“Note: This is now The Chateaux Arcadia and is under new management since the older reviews were written. The highest compliment possible was given to Chateaux Arcadia by an ER nurse caring for my mom. Mom is a resident at Chateaux Arcadia. She recently experienced some chest pain and was transported to the ER. When my sister and I arrived, an ER nurse told us that she and the other nurses hoped to be just like my mom when they got to be her age. She went on to explain that many of the elderly patients admitted to the ER arrived in poor condition; smelly, unwashed, soiled depends, curling toe nails... you get the picture. Our mom, on the other hand, was clean, smelled good, had trimmed finger and toe nails, brushed hair and was obviously well cared for. The nurse's comments were unsolicited and she did not know what assisted living facility mom had been transported from. Mom was discharged and went back to Chateaux later that same day. The staff was genuinely delighted to see her back as were her friends there.”
