The sisters are very caring and helpful. They help women and children get a new beginning. Helping them helped me. Thank you Sister Nicoline and all the sisters.
Lived at Shelter in the 90’s. I had to be like 5-6 years old. The sisters really made a big impact on me and my sisters lives and still do til this day. I turned 32 the other day and I can still remember my time there like if were yesterday. They truly blessed us.
Hard to find but it's the most peaceful and safe place to go. Had the pleasure and honor 🎖 to meet with the order of Maria Teresa 😀 lady's, I always wanted to meet her but time and money 💰 didn't allow it. It was the greatest surprise of my life, they are beautiful and kind there was no criticism, or judging or any unkind of any sort. The best experience that would last a lifetime and then some. It's hard to explained something so amazing, I can't imagine anything better. The lady's some of them had been to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and the culture that many have no idea 💡,what it is or what we are all about. from our beautiful African culture to our history it was refreshing, they have been all over the United States of America 🇺🇸, and abroad. They blessed me with her book 📖 and a picture 📷 of her there work is for free and most importantly willing to help anyone. I thank God for allowing me to experience this. I didn't want to leave, and go back to town and see and hear the brutality of the world, even though I had to. When you are around positive well intended loving and helpful people w good intentions is hard to not be there. There were 👩 ladies 🚺 from all walks of life .
Saint Mother Teresa visited here. How does one experience Peace, happiness, calm, and joy all at the same time? Come share some moments of your time at Our Lady of Fatima. The Sisters of Charity and church welcome all with gracious arms.
+JMJ...Paid a very brief visit to this Church. Doors were locked but was able to take a few photos of the front yard and of the outside of the shelter home called "Gift of Mary" run by the Missionaries of Charty. These are a religious order of women founded by Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta. For the love of God and neighbor, the Missionaries of Charity work with the the Bishop to provide for the spiritual and material needs of the poorest of the poor. Hope to be able to visit again and find the Church open so as to enter into a prayerful atmosphere. 🙏😇
