Mike did a great job repairing my Kimber after it fell out of my bag onto the driveway. He took care of the scratches on the slide near the muzzle and deep scratches on the back next to the hammer, polished out all of the other minor scratches and it looks good as new. I couldn’t be happier on the way it turned out! God forbid I ever drop my gun again but if I do I know exactly who to go to. Great attention to detail and just a fantastic job!
All I have to say Magnum Mike ROCKS. Rock solid customer service, these guys don't sleep, they answer their emails / phones all the time. Super knowledgeable, ROCK solid work on your stuff. And probably one of the best gun shops I have ever dealt with. I would 100% recommend Magnum Mike's to anyone and EVERYONE who is even remotely considering going there, or using them.
Outstanding work, don't waste your money on other shops. You want it done right see Magnum Mike.
This is the shop to go to when other shops just won't cut it. I had (what I thought would be) a simple job; remove a pistol rear sight and replace it with a red-dot mount. This was for a 10mm Tanfoglio; basically a CZ 75 clone. I called three other smiths; none wold take the work after they heard I'd tried to take it off myself with a basic sight-pusher and hadn't had any luck. Well, Mike had to resort to using a thermal tool to get the dang thing off, but off he got it - and on went the new plate. After I determined I'd goofed and ordered the wrong plate, Mike adapted the plate to fit the sight, installed the dot, and even lightened up the trigger pull and rounded off a few sharp edges (at my request) while he was at it. Absolutely top-notch work, only guy (aside from the factory) that I'm willing to trust to work on my toys.
I had my AR taken in for some work. I quickly learned that Mike is a very honest, kind, and knowledgeable guy. His prices are very reasonable and he told me to keep him updated on how it shoots to see if there's any further issues. I'm so glad to have found out about him. He works out solutions to your problems and can diagnose what's going on very well. I can tell he cares. I'm happy to support his business and I'm very grateful to have a reliable gunsmith like him. Highly recommend.
