Fell down a flight of stairs at midnight last Sunday morning. The doctors and nurses and paramedics are an excellent group of people and did every procedure in a timely professional manner. I’m from out of town and they made me at home (even if I had no idea where I was at the time). Very helpful
0 stars for the inexcusably rude staff member my mother and sister encountered at approximately 5:30pm on January 14th. The staff members that assisted me all deserve 5 stars, Maria and Krystal especially. They were exceptionally comforting and helpful at ungodly hours, when I was frightened and alone. My staff members did their absolute best to make me feel comfortable, all around the clock. And they were incredibly friendly, comforting people. But the woman that cruelly confronted my family, when Mom and I were in the wake of an intense car accident, deserves not the slightest bit of respect.
That staff member answered the phone when my sister called, gave her very little information about the situation Mom and I were in, snapped at my sister about needing a Triage staff member, and abruptly hung up. She then approached my mother in a confrontational manner. Now mind you, my mother was injured and absolutely terrified.
Definitely NOT the kind of staff member that deserves to be around 5-star doctors and nurses, in a place that's meant to help and uplift.
I cannot say enough good about the wonderful staff that I saw in the ER today at Honor Health. I was there with my 18 month old daughter who had lost consciousness for two whole minutes. They ran every test immediately and got results back faster than I’ve ever experienced. They were so attentive and kind during a time I greatly needed it, due to Covid I couldn’t have my husband there too and they made sure to step in and help with any and everything. Stellar crew I wish I had names to praise but honestly they were all fantastic ?
I just moved to AZ last month, so had to find a gastroenterologist right away for a liver problem I've had. Found a great one (Dr. John Wells) and had to go to the hospital today. I realize different people have different perspectives, but to be negative about HonorHealth Deer Valley is totally wrong. Having been in a number of hospitals in my life (I'm 82), this is one of the best, if not THE best I've been to so far. Everybody from the receptionist, admissions clerk, lab tech, radiologist, lots of nurses and even the young man pushing my wheel chair were absolutely polite, caring, concerned, knowledgeable, pleasant, sweet, helpful, informative, and the nicest people you could ever want taking care of you. They always thought of your comfort and were totally committed to your care. These people never get the praise they deserve and they work so hard at pleasing the patients. We should all give them the credit they deserve, not only for their dedication, but their demeanor. Thank you to the entire staff!!
I've had an extensive history of hospitals for the past 5 years. And in different states. Due to the severity of my health I came to the ER and hoped the for the best since not all ER visits have been great in the past year. I truly believe these staff members are honestly PASSIONATE about their duty to HUMANS that come in for help. I finally found a Doc who not only cared about the root problem but took the initiative to get answers [ Doc. WRONA ] and Finally felt and was treated like a human and not a room # or a simple "patient " getting admitted, I couldn't have asked for excellency at its best when [Bob and David ] as Charge Nurses evidently took care of me and made me loved and cared for. RUTH as Nurse assistant and Fran as a ER nurse.
HONOR HEALTH ? You have found and by all means made the Correct decision by making them Charge Nurses as not only did they show Empathy, Compassion and above all humanism towards their duty and patients. These employees should be recognized and not be taken for granted. Thank you to all the staff mentioned and above all DAVID who was attentive and went above and beyond. I can never repay him ???
