What can I say other than this World Class Museum is second only to the Louvre Museum in Paris. We spent four hours here which flew by and still have more to see and experience. The headsets are cutting edge and included with admission. They automatically detect what you're standing in front of and start telling you about it or letting you listen to the music. I never realized there were so many beautiful ways to make music in the world.
Fantastic museum. Had a great time. It's so large we weren't able to see it all in one day! I definitely recommend it. Also, side note, the cafe was amazing. Best "museum food" I've ever had. And well priced!
This museum is absolutely fantastic! The flow of the museum is easy to follow. There is so much to take in. If you are a true musician, you probably want to plan on a whole day (or maybe two). We had three children with us. The middle-school aged kids enjoyed about 3 hours. The instrument room where we could play instruments was awesome! This museum is really amazing.
Wow! Love, love, LOVED this museum!!! It was a GREAT experience that I recommend everyone to go to. It’s probably best for ages 7+ just so they can appreciate the museum. It’s very interesting how the headsets work, and you’ll understand more when you go. The exhibits are amazing, and the instruments are very interesting. The museum is made even better with the audio clips for each country/region they focus on. It’s so expansive, that I’d recommend a good 3.5 to 4 hours to be able to have enough time to really absorb everything. I was there for around 2 and a half hours, and still wasn’t able to go through all of it.
Overall, I’d really recommend going to it if you’re in the Phoenix area and if you have a good half of your day to spend there.
Amazing place lots to see! Great musicians at the concerts! Crafts and activities for the kids and a large area for the kids and adults to actually play with the instruments . I definitely recommend this place. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The volunteers or workers were knowledgeable and informative. Great place to visit and to take visitors from out of town!
