Absolutely Awesome Doctor. He did a great job on me. With my foot and ankle after a horrific car accident here of course in Phoenix!
He's so nice and funny! I heard he bikes with his anesthesiologist as while :)
I was referred to Dr. Heller by the emergency room at John C. Lincoln in Phoenix. I had missed a step and consequently my ankle twisted and I ended up with a trimalleolar fracture. of my ankle.
Dr. Heller admitted me from the emergency room and surgery was scheduled for the next morning. The surgery went well and 7 screws, one pin and one plate was used to repair my ankle.
I was held in the hospital for a few days and transferred to a skilled nursing facility. While a patient at the skilled nursing facility, I was scheduled for biweekly visits to Dr. Heller. These proved to be helpful and Dr. Heller kept me informed of my progress.
Through out my healing, Dr. Heller has been kind and quite informative. He is a calm practitioner who exudes experience.
Currently. I am several months away from initial hospitalization. I experience very little pain and I am able to walk.
I understand this break is considered a major surgery. The ankle has quite a few bones and the angles of the movement of the ankle are quite complex.
I am quite satisfied with Dr. Heller and his front office. His entire staff appears to be quite experienced and they are informative and quite caring. I have a very good experience with Dr, Heller and his staff. I highly recommend you make an appointment if you require surgery on your hands, arms, legs, feet and ankle.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
BONUS! While sitting in his front office I heard a sound, which I had not heard for decades. The receptionist was typing on an electric typewriter. I got up and spoke with the receptionist about her typewriter, I asked her why she didn't use a laptop or a desk top PC. She informed me there are not any computers, tablets or wi-fi in the office. Scheduling, progress notes and chart updates are all done manually.
While the office works in an anachronistic fashion, the service I was provided was top shelf. It is nice to see the old way works just fine.
