Cayomango, Seafood & Drinks

My boyfriend and I were recommended to Cayomango and it did not disappoint! We love going to Rocky point for shrimp cocktail and we were told that we needed to try this place with similar style food. The shrimp cocktail and shrimp tacos were amazing. It was super clean and nice and inside. We will definitely be going back soon!!!

The plate of combined seafood was not that flavorful. The kitchen went light on the ingredients. So they couldn't extract the different flavors of the seafood animals. However, the location is very modern and has led tables that look cool. Any other than that, come here if you are by the area.

What an experience this was! I had read other reviews online complaining about the Spanish only spoken in the restaurant but I wasn't phased because I have Google Translate. The menus are in English and I was able to point successfully to my desired items. Those items came out quickly and with a smile, bonus if you like seafood because you won't be disappointed. We are raw shrimp and had zero problems after. The restaurant is a marvel and well decorated coupled with a gorgeous staff. The outside is dicey with a homeless shanty encampment nearby in the back where we parked. But I feel this restaurant is another step forward to making the Westside less gritty. Elephant in the room, it's expensive but Monday and Tuesday they offer a discount.
