You can go twice a month but have to have 5 days between visits, the staff are very friendly and they are fast. This place has helped me out when i was going threw some difficult financial times. Thank you St. Marys Food Bank
This place is incredible. The operation is run so smoothly. The music was fun. Time flew by, and we hope to help over 1000 families with our hard work.
Great volunteering experience! Met some nice ppl. I'll be back for more!
I am a social worker and I go here for my clients or sometimes with a client to get a food box. The process is very well organized and I think in general as places like this go the waiting times are not bad. However, the food is not ideal. In fact it's pretty bad. That is to say for example the other day I got 50 apples and a six-pack of marshmallow Puffs in a jar.of course I also got two whole fryer chickens and 4/2 gallons of milk and two large cartons of good Greek yogurt so it's better than nothing. it's just that often several of the items are not very healthy and would tend to make the family that gets them pretty fat. but I know they're doing the best they can and I think it's a great organization. Recommend.
I attended this location for the opportunity to do something good. I volunteered for several hours and helped box up food for families in need. I love what St. Mary's does and this was the experience of a lifetime. If you or anyone you know is looking to do something good for those in need consider making a donation or volunteering when you can. I can't stress enough how important places like these are in our society.
