John and team are world class builders, we did a lot of shopping and found nothing close to the craftsmanship, wood working, and off grid power capabilities that they produce.

Their vans are truly self contained and all season. Our family has been comfortable in the heat of Texas in summer and Montana during the winter.

It’s really a family experience and John, Christine, Lyle and Emerson have become like family after this experience. Hell, I even passed out cigars when I picked up my Vansion because I felt like a proud new parent!

From the outside it is just a van but once you slide that side door open you step into a warm inviting home surrounded by the peaceful earthy wood tones, grain and smells of a cabin in the woods. The attention to detail is unbelievable and I challenge you to find a piece of plastic anywhere!

This project was very personal to me. My late wife’s favorite flower was the sunflower so my choice for the etching next to the front door under the window was easy…but wait there’s more. My wife and her two younger sisters all loved ladybugs and because they are no longer with us I asked John if he could somehow add three ladybugs to the sunflower etching. “Let me see what we can do” was his response. The result was a one-of-a-kind beautiful sunflower etching with a ladybug on each of the three flower pedals. I cannot thank John and the Vansion Team enough for their thoughtfulness and I smile every time I reach for the door to enter my home on wheels.
I call my home on wheels - The Whale’s Tale. Whales symbolize family, romance, longevity, travel, community and protection.
The Whale’s Tale was created by John and his Vansion Family and now they are all part of my family.

Wow. There’s so much to say. My experience with Vansion was honestly just the best. From my first conversation with John I knew I found my Van. I actually had almost put a deposit down with a different company in Michigan but after seeing John’s product on conversion trader and then talking with him I was sold.

Vansion is everything they claim to be and more. The quality of wood construction is master level work. The power house is absolutely top notch in its layout and component selection as well.

I’ve had ZERO problems with the Van and when some very minor questions about things came up they answer the phone and Lyle gets me what I need.

This Van truly is my home. I live in it 100% of the time. All the appliances are top notch, the quality of the shower, sink, RO tap, bed framing (btw the bed is super comfy), are perfect.

The details of the cabinetry, wood floors, wood selection and the finishing process are better than you’d find in a expensive home. When Vansion says custom they really deliver.

I’ve driven this van for 5 straight months and couldn’t be happier with it.

Every time I pull into a trail head, state park etc. people are amazed at my home on wheels. Honestly, I am too.

They say to be careful of expectations but in this case it just isn’t true. Everything was exactly the way I thought it would be and more. Even the pull out desk is a piece of art.

I think that’s the best way to describe this Van. It really is just an incredible piece of art. A cabin on wheels and I couldn’t be happier with the product, the service and the personal touch’s that came with it.

When I walked into the Van the day John delivered it to me in Flagstaff I cried because it truly was something amazing and unique.

John and his team has been absolutely amazing throughout the build process. I asked for some pretty “out there” amenities in my build (a soaking tub, shower, full electrical and wireless layout to run my media business out of, etc 😂). John wasn’t even phased ( but don’t ask for a tub like me because he’ll talk you out of it 😂😂😂) . Basically I wanted a literal house on wheels. John’s builds makes you want for nothing. Anytime I ask a dumb question about my van, John gets back to me super quick. My dog and I (and my friends and their dogs) have gone on many adventures the past year that I’ve had the van, and it’s been exactly as I wanted. A special note: my van was built and completed at the height of the pandemic with supply chain issues and the fuel shortage- and my van was still built in time to my expectations. 💯 10/10 would recommend.

The most beautiful, very well thought out and practical campervans ever. You can tell John really cares about what he’s doing with the way he’s building these. No propane, no gas generator, no shore power needed. Amazing!!!
