Awesome place to work.
This app helps to make caregivers jobs easier. Which in turn helps our clients get the best we have to offer.
I worked for Abrio Care when I lived in Cottonwood and had a great experience. I felt valued and cared for by both my clients and my supervisors. I transferred when I moved down to Phoenix a couple years later. It took a long time to get any clients. The first client I was assigned was nice and we got along just fine for the most part, but her husband was usually rude to me as well as rude to his wife. It was not a good fit. I had one other client at the time and was assigned another one shortly. I adored both of them. In December of 2015 my mother passed away suddenly. I was never given, or even offered bereavement. Six months after my mother's passing, one of my clients passed away suddenly. I still had the one client and just the one for a short time. I was finally assigned another client. Was an ok match but was pretty far from where I lived, but I made it work because I needed the money. Just shy of a year after my mother's passing, my other long time client passed away suddenly. I was literally beside myself with grief. No one from the office ever checked up on me to see how I was doing. No real interaction with anyone from the office at all. For a company that claimed to take care of their workers, I definitely never felt cared for or about after I left Cottonwood. I never felt supported or like I mattered. When I left Phoenix and moved to Prescott, I transferred again. I had to do all the recertifications, which I did. When I was in Prescott I was homeless and just trying to get my life back together. I did everything I needed to to get back to work. I was told there were plenty of hours, plenty of clients, that I would be kept busy and would have full time hours. When I dropped off the required paperwork I just had to wait to get assigned to a client. That was in 2017. It is now 2021 and I still have not received a single call from the Prescott office.
So like I said in the beginning of my review, When I worked for this company in Cottonwood it was amazing. Kelly Contreras was by far one of the best managers I ever had the pleasure of working for.
Best group home I’ve ever worked at! I’m not even kidding. Super nice people, even the managers are nice was surprised:)
