  Jennifer Almodover from More Than A Move has helped me several times. Jenny’s communication and organizational skills as well as attention to details are outstanding. She is also very pleasant to work with because of her upbeat caring personality.
  The first time I met Jenny, I was not well and in need of help going through things in my home to decide what to ship to my other out of state home. Never overbearing, her helpful suggestions were well thought out always keeping in mind my needs. She carefully organized, packed, measured and weighed each box so that everything was was ready to be picked up at my front door. Jenny also photographed donations for my records then dropped them off at the donation center for me. Because I had planned on being away for months, Jenny suggested then took photos of my good silver that I was not moving so that I would have it for insurance purposes. Something I had not even thought about.
  Months later, when I decided to stay longer at at my other home, Jenny helped me once again. She went to my house and found everything on the list I sent her then professionally packed and shipped it all to me. There were many sentimental and fragile items. Everything arrived on time in perfect condition.
  Most recently, Jenny came to my rescue once again when I decided to sell my home. Downsizing and moving to another state is overwhelming and extremely stressful. Because of COVID I could not return. I was totally dependent on Jenny’s expertise. It was a huge job. Doing this remotely via phone, photos and FaceTime felt like an impossible task but Jenny made it all seem so effortless. Her genuine compassion in understanding my concerns gave me so much peace of mind. She treated my home and all of my belonging like they were her most precious possessions. Her continuous communication via phone calls, photos and text messages kept me apprised of every aspect of the entire project from start to finish. She was always tireless, cheerful and on top of every aspect of my move right down to recommending a great moving company.
  As an added bonus, Jenny sold things I no longer needed or could not fit in my smaller home and took other items to consignment and donation places. Her knowledge of what would sell, where to sell it as well as pricing was extremely helpful. I was pleasantly surprised how much she sold!
  Jenny’s professionalism at my home when meeting buyers for the furniture and other household items she sold for me was also impressive. To avoid having strangers walking through my home, she had things ready outside whenever possible. When picking up larger items Jenny stayed with each buyer while they removed their items. Thoughtful of my finances, she scheduled items to be picked up during a time she was already at my home working on other things.
  Every detail of clearing out my home was completed quickly, efficiently and so much easier than I could have ever imagined.

  I spent 25 years in the F-500 corporate world. I was a law firm administrator for 12 years. Professionalism is something that I've always valued. Jenny Almodovar is a true professional. We needed to empty the house that our brother and his girl friend had lived in. We had planned to travel to Arizona to coordinate the clean out. But, we decided to do this work remotely because of the pandemic. I reviewed about 20 different services and decided that More Than a Move was the company that best suited our needs. During the clean out process, Jenny sent us numerous photos as she went room by room. She also did FaceTime with us. She called us frequently to discuss the disposition of items. There were many items that we wanted to keep in the family. Jenny carefully packed 13 boxes and had them shipped to New Mexico and Virginia. We definitely picked the right company to do the job. The whole process went better than we could possibly imagine. I cannot praise Jenny Almodovar enough. This experience was truly more than a move. I highly recommend More Than A Move.   I don't know what I would have done without Jenny Almodova and her company "More Than a Move." She packed, moved me, unpacked and put everything in it's place, while I was in the hospital and rehab!! I've called her many times to find where a particular item was. Never did she lose her patience or "cool", in fact she ALWAYS acted like she was glad to hear from me, and she always knew where the item was located!
  At this point I consider her a good friend.
  I would recommend her to anyone!!

  Jenny offers a great service. Moving for everyone is already so stressful. Of course they pack your items & take care of the move but THEN they also can unpack & organize everything into it's appropriate place (including figuring out your furniture layout if needs be). Need a great estate sale company? housecleaner? realtor? They know the right people do to all that too and can arrange it all as well if you want. How great to just point fingers from the start of your move to the absolute finish? So all I had to do was point fingers for what items go & where and then sit back and enjoy my new home by the time they are done?! Yep, worth every penny. Needless to say, Jenny & Fran are such kind ladies who are also very prompt and good at what they do. Thank you for what you do. Looking forward to recommending you.
