I have had Frank work on my Colt DA's for years, and have had nothing but excellent experiences with him. He is meticulous, prompt and an absolute wealth of information for a quickly vanishing craft.
I endorse his work without any reservations.
I rarely post experiences or reviews on here, but I felt compelled to write this as my experience with Mr. Glenn was the exact opposite of the previous review. I had Frank work on a S&W revolver that was told by a previous gun shop was junk and out of time, to the point that they were not interested in buying it from me. I took the revolver to Frank to have an action job done to fix the "issues" the gun had as well as do a barrel change and refinish. He proceeded to show me how that shop was wrong and took the time to show me how to check the action, in turn telling me I did not need the expensive action job, that it was working very well. He also told me exactly how long the job would take, answered any questions I had with respect, and returned the finished revolver ahead of schedule.
I can assure you that Frank's reputation in the gunsmithing industry does not reflect the previous reviewers post. He is one of the top 100 pistolsmiths in the country, and was building 1911s for Rob Leatham and Brian Enos when they first started competing back the 80s, actually building the gun Leatham won his furst IPSC match with. Frank's attention to detail would not let a gun he built "fall apart" or "sneak past him". Also, being that he is a retired police officer, if he treated you with sarcasm and or like he was doing you a favor, he was probably reciprocating the attitude and respect you were giving him.
I will continue to use Frank and recommend any and everyone to see him for any gunsmithing needs. He is one of the best.
