FNP Ashley Harrington is amazing! Went in today on short notice with a terrible ear infection. Called from outside thinking it was an Urgent Carr, but they said come on in we can see u in 20 min. The waiting room was full so I expected a long wait , but to my surprise the patients were seen quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lidia and Kevina were both extra patient with me as I forgot my glasses and couldn’t read the forms. Thank you for taking care of me and I am definitely a new SATISFIED new patient.
I have been hopping doctors trying to find a doctor who was caring and very helpful since my last doctor is no longer practicing, I am so thankful I found 1st care family medicine they are so helpful and caring scheduling is so quick and easy. The front desk is always helpful and so nice every time I come in. And the NP Rose was very sincere she sat down with me and discussed my medical problems and questions and was very understanding which you do t find anymore they also have great lab techs in office so you dont have to waste time going out for blood work thank you 1st care Family Medicine!

I have been going to 1st Family Care under the care of Dr. Harris Khakwani for almost nine years The office staff, medical assistants, nurse practitioners and physicians are the backbone to keeping me alive. Every time I call, I know what I need will be taken care of, especially with exemplary employees like Gloria answering the phone and directing calls. I have seen every doctor available in the office and have never been disappointed. I have a disease that requires constant attention with referrals, scripts and lab orders, that I can rest assured will be done efficiently and quickly due to medical assistants like Christina. Christina has diligently and single-handedly orchestrated finding me the best specialists for each of my conditions (with a difficult insurance to find in network associates). When you’re struggling with health, having a family doctor that will be there for every call and need, is absolutely cherished, lifesaving and rare to find. Anyone that complains about wait time needs to keep in mind each patient is there for an ill reason that requires time & attention from the doctor, just like the time and attention one would want for their own appointment.
