“I absolutely love Emily! She is a kind, patient, and resourceful 3rd grade teacher. She has a positive attitude and an encouraging demeanor. My son is very shy and gets easily frustrated due to his past experiences in his school, so he was reluctant to begin tutoring. However, from the moment he walked in her door, she had a warm smile and she knew exactly how to make him feel safe, welcome, and show how learning can be fun. It’s only been roughly two months (we have a one hour session twice a week) and we’ve already seen progression with him asking questions, grammar, and reading. After each session, Emily lets us know what his focus areas are and what he can practice at home throughout the week until their next session. It’s relieving to know that my son has a higher chance of passing the AZELLA test with her help. She exceeds our high expectations and is super flexible with our work schedules. I’m so happy I was able to find such an amazing person and I look forward to see how bright my son’s academic future gets with her assistance.”

They also concentrate on teaching life skills like washing hands, cleaning up after themselves and being kind to one another as well as the education milestones like fine motor skills, colors, letters and numbers. They have great communication as well! I receive daily reports of what my child did that day and notifications in a timely manner of any and all changes within the center. “I went to this school from K-6. My skills were proficient. The teachers were often nice. Most of my teachers really didn't appreciate me. I was a trouble-maker. They had to change principals in my third grade year. Tammy was a great principal. Jared stepped in after she left. He was the worst. The school was failing because of him. Gladly, he was kicked out. He lasted three years. Then a volunteer principal came in. He made the school much better. I believe there is a new principal now, the school must be doing fine now. I haven't been there in 4 years. I don't plan on going back. Almost of the teachers I had are gone.”

“I have 2 kids here and my sister do too. The school has improved so much this year with Ms. Crawford as the principal. She took care of a lot of bullies and the ones breaking into houses in the neighborhood. My kids use computers they love the JiJi math. The dress down has to be earned with good behavior and not money so my kids know to act good at school. They have Star tickets and sports and science teams. I love this school but the PE, Art and Music teachers need to retire.”
