“I ordered new car keys from a KeyMe kiosk inside a grocery store. The experience and price obtained was very good and the key worked. However, it was a discrepancy between what I thought I was ordering and what I eventually got. At the kiosk I believed I was ordering a car key with a key fob included, allowing me to open and close the car doors and open the trunk, similar to the one I have. What I got was only a simple car key, with no key fob associated. To use it with my current car I would need to buy a separate key fob on Amazon and program it, a $40 value. Even if I ordered the car key from KeyMe and the key fob separately, still the offer is very good because it falls almost half of what a car dealership would charge for a complete car key programming. The comment is about how this offer is advertised, to manage the expectations of a potential customer.”
