If I could give this 6 stars, I would. I've been looking for Thrifty Ice Cream for so many years, served the way I remember it like getting it as a kid. This mom n pop wholesome place is seriously one of my new favorite things of all of east side. The kids working there are so friendly and helpful, the ice cream is perfect and great prices. We came in with a small party of 6 kids and 4 adults for a simple party. It was wonderful the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and the Winters family was so polite and pleasantly patient with us. Thank you so much from our family the little gathering was so memorable, our 11 year old son and 3 year old daughter were so happy. Thank you once again kudos to the kids working in there they were all just so professional and polite as well. Please give this place an opportunity to show you there friendly smiles and great service, wish there were more places with this kind of service in our area..

Owner is top of the line. Training his employees to a standard lost somewhere in our corporate world. He has amazing family to support his legacy. Five stars does not give him enough credit.
