CBJ Guitar Academy (Queen Creek Guitar Lessons)

My 8 year old son has been taking electric guitar lessons from Chris for a few months now. I am so impressed with how much he has learned in such a short time. My son looks forward to his lessons with Chris. He is so patient and such a good listener. He keeps my son engaged and interested and helps him learn the songs that he likes and wants to play. My son tends to pick difficult songs, but Chris is able to adjust them so he can actually learn/play the songs he likes. Not only do we get our regular lesson from Chris, but he also provides us with a video of the lesson that day and an email with the music for home practice.
Chris himself is a super talented guitar player and plays very difficult flamenco style guitar, but of course he can play electric/acoustic and probably more. We are always amazed how he can play any song pretty much on demand even if he's never played it! We are lucky to be learning from such a talented guitar player and I am excited to see how my sons skills evolve learning from Chris! Thank you!

Our 10 year old daughter has been taking lessons for a year. We are blown away by the progress and gains she has made in such a short time under Chris’s instruction. He is a phenomenal guitar teacher. My daughter does lessons virtually and he does such a great job of engaging her and he keeps continued communication with me. The lessons are at her level and when we have had to miss a lesson he sends a virtual one . He is intuitive and has let me know when she seemed down and not as engaged and he was always right on about it. He has be instrumental in helping her personal confidence. Highly recommended.

We consider ourselves so lucky to have found such a great guitar instructor for our 11 year old daughter. Chris is a professional at what he does and his experience and knowledge can be seen in how he teaches. My daughter is very fond of her teacher, is enthusiastic and engaged in her guitar lessons and I know it’s because of Chris and how he keeps her interested and challenged. I highly recommend Chris.

I started guitar lessons with Chris 6 weeks ago, as a beginner at age 51. Chris is a great teacher with lots of tricks and tips up his sleeves and I am so grateful to have met him. He explains techniques clearly and guides with easy to follow instructions and exercises that have helped soften frustrations I encounter while walking my new path with the guitar. Chris is clearly an expert guitarist, full of knowledge and understanding, and is able to convey this with kindness, humility, strength, and clarity. I appreciate his supportive way and I am impressed at how he adapts instruction to both my immediate and long term needs and goals. I have had lots of teachers thru the years, and Chris stands out as exceptional as both instructor and human being.
