Great store with very helpful employees! I have been going here for years, and am always pleased with how knowledgable and helpful people are. They're genuinely trying to help, not sell you things. There is a 'big box' retail hardware store very close, and every time I go there I get frustrated with the lack of help and wish I went to Ace. They don't always have everything you need, but definitely worth checking first. They're also extremely helpful when you have a project and aren't exactly sure how to finish it. I have had some great advice and recommendations from the staff.

I went to the Ace Hardware & Rental store at Scottsdale rd and Shea on December 15, 2020 to purchase a key fob holder for my old Toyota key fob. I spoke to Sean who worked in the key department. When he saw me, he immediately stopped what he was doing and helped me select a Toyota compatible key fob. He then attempted several times to install my Toyota parts inside, but could not get it to work. He then directed me to an auto parts store next to Ace.
I was impressed by his great work ethic, his willingness to help me, and the personalized service I received by him. This was my first time in the store, and as the saying goes, first impressions count.

Great store! Staff was super friendly and helped me get the right part to fix my moving dolly, which took a few tries. Will be back
