Yet, they came up with creative ways to still interact with Dad. Dad enjoys the activities, especially exercise class, listening to the piano when performers come in to play, Bible study and painting classes. He enjoys the meals but breakfast is his favorite. Our family is so happy to have found The Aspen, located in Woodland Park, where Dad is safe, happy and content.”

“LISA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I started this clinic 4 years ago when I was desperately wanting to stop using. I definitely wouldn’t still be clean if it wasn’t for her. Being in addiction for as long as I have led me to see many different treatment centers, clinics, and councilors etc. I can honestly say that SMC is one of the most caring places I have been to. From day one they welcome you exactly where you’re at with loving arms and genuine care. This is the only clinic out of many that I have seen that is not money driven and actually works hard for their clients. Every member of staff here is great, and understand how individualized recovery is and help you create specific treatment goals designed just for you. Lisa is the heart and soul of this place and through her own journey she is able to have that true love and compassion for her clients that you very rarely find these days. She’s gone above and beyond for me more times than I can count and I consider myself so blessed to have chose this place. I have stayed here when I moved away for 4 months and had to drive almost two hours one way once a week, and have also stayed here when I could have gone to another place for free. (This is before they took insurance.) Anyways if you’re looking for people that truly understand that recovery is a process with good times and bad and are there to help you through rather than kick you out or reprimand you then this is the place.”

“Kathleen scheduled me and found an agreeable time, late in the day which I like. I brought in the completed patient form and Jill (?) performed the initial testing quickly and efficiently, even if she didn't get my bad (dry humor) jokes. Dr Greenberg performed the examination, including all the eye drops and answered all my questions. I'm boring and nothing has changed since last year, but Dr. Greenberg says that's good, right? 5 stars.”
