Integrative Endocrinology & Preventive Medicine

I have been dealing with type 2 diabetes for 20 years. I searched the internet and was encouraged with the postive reviews for Integrative Endocrinology & Preventive Medicine especially the nutritionist Christine Santos.
During my initial consultation Ms. Santos sat me down and convinced me with a level of commitment on my part she would be able improve my situation and see measurable results quickly.
Me, being very skeptical thinking this is just another diet to add to my long list of failed attempts, I agreed to the Medifast program. No lie this was the biggest thing in my life, food is very important to me! I'm happy to report the claims in the meal plan are true. Carb craving was greatly reduced, increase in engery and postive results on the scale.
I feel the successful result directly relates to Ms. Santos approach; her coaching, knowledge and continuous guidance made all the difference. More then once I got discouraged only to be consoled back on track by a visit/ weigh in, I gained a better understanding how my body is reacting to the meal plan. And I was able to provide a low carb diet so my doctor has a baseline to address my medications.

Christine Santos is the nutritionist and she has changed my life. I’ve always eaten healthy but could never lose the extra pounds until I met her. She truly cares about my progress and happily answers all of my thousands of questions. She specializes in figuring out exactly what your body needs and what it will respond to so you can lose weight in a healthy, long term & balanced way. Leeana Peterson has been a life saver and has been very interested in my well being. She takes her time to listen and answer all of my questions. Leeana has discovered life saving things about me that no other Endocrinologist ever has done. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

At my first appointment 6 years ago, my life and diabetes has been better than I could imagine! Everyone who works here is so kind and friendly! The doctors, nutritionist and skin care professional all care so much! So refreshing to actually look forward to going to doctor appointments! :)
