Lorenzo's Pizza

Johnny is a great person and loves his job. Our large half and half pizza was very good, thin, crispy crust. One of the owners moms makes this homemade cheesecake, it looked amazing.
Do you ever wonder about those little mom and pop places? Tonight I walked into this small neighborhood restaurant and I just felt so sad for these people. I watch the owners the husband and wife team working very hard to keep the business afloat. Johnny took care of us and did a great job. As I asked him questions and he gave the answers, I had more questions. They would love to be open 100% but they can’t find employees and they are working themselves to death. It’s time for people to go back to work. They had to paint on their window a help wanted sign because all of the stores are out. Everyone seems to be looking for help but people have become very spoiled, and lazy.
This place is definitely crying for help and is in big need of a facelift. It seem clean but it is very old.

So Glad a friend of mine suggested this place to me. It's a drive up to N. Scottsdale, but its worth every penny.

Although, I wasn't impressed with 16' being their largest NY Pizza, because in NY they have 18' & 24', they make larger pizzas but they use those ONLY for slices - Why not offer a larger size pizza to the guests, since you already have them for Slices???

Also, wasn't impressed that they don't offer full service in the lunch time - you have to order at the counter and then take a seat - another NO NO for any NY Pizzeria.

Being from NYC, I truly know what NY Style Pizza is and is not. This pizza is absolutely the BEST NY Style pizza outside of NY and in AZ!!! The meatball Hoagie is excellent... The meatballs taste as if they just came out of Grandma's Pot, not a microwave like other places do.

Definitely give them 5-Stars for Effort... Please time to open another location.... How about East-Valley, preferably in the Mesa area...

Just wish they were closer to our house and my small-business. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR NYS PIZZA - YOU HAVE TO TRY LORENZO'S!

Lorenzo's Pizza is the best Italian food and the location is very clean and comfortable with great service. The only drawback is that this wonderful place is not closer to my home. Still, it is always worth the extra drive for really great and fresh Italian food. Plus, there is always something good to drink with a wide selection. So relax and good enjoy a great selection of food and drink. Highly recommended!

I love Lorenzo's place! He's a good guy brings the Italian experience to Arizona! The food is amazing! If you're looking for a nice cozy spot with great food good people go to Lorenzo's!
