  I was homeless and on the 12th. of February I was driving around with my service animal Maecee Grey and we had no place to because on July 24th at 1:40 am I went into the kitchen and opened the pantry and a roof rat that was bigger than my service animal and she weighs 6 lbs and the rat weighed over 10 pounds jumped out at me. I called the apartment manager at Riverbend ll Apartments and the main office so I turned them into the Health Department and other offices with health issues.
  Anyway , I saw a car pull into the parking lot and I was crying and I asked them to pray with me. Not knowing it was Deacon Bob and his wife MS. Rhonda. They prayed with me and for me. I was given a Bible by Deacon Bob and his wife asked me to come inside and bring Maecee Grey with me. I did what I could to help MS Rhonda and from that point I went into Bible Study with Deacon Bob and I was treated like I had been there from the beginning. I had on my robe and my gown underneath but, I was treated like I had on my Sunday Best. I was introduced to MS Lillian and she offered not only to take me into her home but, Maecee Grey as well. I was overwhelmed with such kindness, love, compassion and concern and I didn't know how to take it because no one from my Church or people that I had helped or cared for didn't have any compassion for me. I declined her most generous offer that Sunday however she phoned me on Monday evening and she not only came out and showed me how to get to her home but it was dark and neither of drive when the sun goes down. I was there for two weeks and it took a Baptist to rescue a Catholic . I knew that First Baptist Church was going to be my new Home Church, the love, kindness, compassion, concern and the joy that I feel in my heart reassured me that there are good people in the world and God has Blessed me with what I had been looking for.
  Everyone at the Church has a smile on their face and more love in their hearts that I could have ever imagined. Come join us and you'll see exactly what I'm saying.
  The Pastors have a message all you need to do is be quiet and listen. The Choir Director and the music is uplifting, and the Church Members are very welcoming. Come Home

  George and I have been here 3 times. We do feel at home here. The people are so friendly and just wonderful. If your looking for a church look no further you have found home. This is what they say and mean it. I can’t wait till Wednesday. The pastor preachers right from the Bible.

  How do you explain the Spirit, the love, the truth, and the true preaching of the word? That is exactly what happens at our church, baptisms, joiners, childrens worship and singing, great food, fun and joy! Need I say more? We have found our church home!

  This Church Feels Like Home!
  My husband and I had been attending another church but it just didn't feel right. The people were nice but their beliefs just differed from ours. Here is where I feel my beliefs (Traditional Christian) were the accepted. I believe the bible is our guide and Jesus is who I am to follow. I'm looking forward to going back and joining their Bible Study Sessions. Come here to visit and you too will come back.

  This church is amazing! Preaches the word of God directly from the Bible! You can feel Christ’s love when you walk in the door. People are loving and friendly and make you feel welcome! Love the old hymns!
