    We are planning on moving to the west Phoenix area and visited this church to see if it would be a good fit for us.
    I was very impressed with the people who greeted me and the information they had ready to show me about what their programs are.
    Impressed all the way around. It will be a very good place to worship (after this Virus thing is over).

    We were visiting friends and went with them as we are from Nebraska and couldn't get to our church that Sunday. We were very blessed by the music but the Pastor's sermon was even better!
    We know when we are back to the area,
    we will have to go to the Church on the Green!

    My husband and I love this church! We were married there almost seven years ago. We love this church because the presence of the Lord is so very real and we have a senior pastor who preaches the Bible as the infallible and unchanging Word of God. He doesn't waver, makes no compromises and no apologies. If you are looking for a true Assembly of God church, you have found the best one out there.

    "Soups On!" A free lunch is provided Thursdays by the gracious, generous, beautiful hearts of this church. Come hungry, leave happy! Many interesting folks from all over the world rub elbows and enjoy a meal together...the only thing that's missing, is you! *SPOILER ALERT* Lunch is prepared by a former gourmet chef.

History - Center Church on the Green - New Haven, CT

Our church was organized on August 23, 1639, by the same Puritans who founded the New Haven Colony as a theocratic "New Jerusalem." These first English settlers arrived in April of 1638, led by the Reverend John Davenport and Theophilus Eaton, who was elected as the colony's first governor.
