Grand Community Baptist Church

I went to an AA meeting here last night, and as usual, the people attending were welcoming, friendly, honest and REAL. I love my AA meetings, and this place is a beautiful example of why we all go.

I've never attended a service here. But my my grandmother did for a short time. Unfortunately she passed right before Christmas and the church lovingly opened their heart and doors, and took care of us. Although my grandmother wasn't a member and didn't know many people at all, Pastor Shon was so kind to our family. He met with us and listened to our memories to help him get to know my grandmother better and then he did a beautiful message at her memorial service. After the memorial service they even provided a very nice luncheon for us. We didn't have to do anything but enjoy our time with family and the church workers took care of everything else. This church is a very warm, welcoming, and fill with the love of Christ. A church that I will visit anytime I'm in that area on Sundays.

Today was my first time to attend. Enjoyed it very much. Music was hymns, and no drums. The sermon was from Philippians - very good
