I've been going to Dr. Horrocks since he opened his doors. That being said, it is very very rare to find people, let alone doctors like Horrocks. He cares about you as a person, as well as a patient. I think everyone hopes to hold the same family doctor forever, that is my plan at least.
I have been a patient here for YEARS, the doctor and his PA are great, attentive, trustworthy, and they take the time to figure out what is going on. The office staff always seem happy and upbeat, very nice, always smile, and accommodating. I have never had a bad experience with any staff or the doctors. Very convenient to have blood drawn in the office. Have never had any billing issues/errors. I highly recommend this office.
I absolutely love the Dr and PA there. The nurses and lab tech are wonderful too. The front office could use a hug.
I have been going to Surprise Family Medicine for many years now, and absolutely love everything about them! Dr Horrocks and PA Rachel Carney both take excellent care of me. As an RN, I can attest that they are both very thorough and thoughtful in the care that they provide. I never feel like just a number and never feel rushed, unlike at many other provider offices. Both take time to listen to my needs as a patient, which is pretty hard to find nowadays. Their support staff does a great job, as well. My waits have always been pretty reasonable. There was only one time that I had to wait about an hour to get in - but it was because there was an emergency going on with another patient, so that is certainly understandable. They aren't accepting new patients now, because they are taking excellent care of their existing patients. But if you can get named in an existing patient's will to take their spot when they die...that would definitely be worth a shot. ;-)
