Not only did he explain the specifics of the tire but clearly outline me the benefits of doing business with him. He didn’t pressure me and gave me a follow up call the next day just to check in. I had received quotes from a few other companies and chose S&S because of Josh and his customer service even though they weren’t the lowest price place. Being in the service industry myself, I can definitely appreciate an employee going the extra mile for a customer especially in an industry where there’s a ton of competition. “So I didn't actually drop off anything for repair or buy anything from here. But I went in with my Craftsman leaf blower that wasn't working. He told me flat out they don't work on them. What it would cost me in repairs I would use on a new one. So kinda don't waste your money kinda thing. Didn't even try to sell me anything in his store. Sent me down to other stores in the area with better prices. The main reason I'm leaving this review is because I don't think the few 1 star reviews are fair. I'm Mexican, don't look like a "good customer" and was treated well and beyond fair. I'll be sure to go in next time I can't fix something on my own. The new echo I bought today works great by the way, better than the Craftsman. Thank you.”

“Recently We had had damage to our truck due to a mouse. We didn’t know about Allen’s and got it fixed elsewhere for a fortune. We were concerned the mouse might be back to cause more damage and someone told us about called Allen’s. I called and they told us they could squeeze us in that day. They did a thorough inspection of the car and thankfully didn’t find anything. Their hourly price was reasonable and, in the end, they didn’t even charge us. We will definitely come back to them if we have any other car maintenance or car repair needs.”

“Every time I go there I get the best service. They spend the time to help you. I purchased 3 batteries from them in the last 4 years. They answer all of my questions and give great advice they know thier stuff. Really. Back in the day. I remember lumber yards used to offer that kind of survive. Where they would have an old guy there that knew everything. Then when the home Depot opened. They had a bunch of kids working there that you can't ask for advice. This place is not like that. You have guys working there that "know" cars. They were mechanics or something of high level knowledge before they worked there. I wish other industries were still like that. Where they hired people with a skill set. So great job! Thanks for hiring real knowledgeable people. So I can get the advice that I need for my car.”

“Like you, we've used various carpet cleaning companies in the past—some that offered 37 rooms cleaned for only $79.95, and others that promised no residue. I remembered how strong the smell was after our last carpet cleaning (which is why we weren't using them again). Well, it seems you get what you pay for, and "no residue" means the carpet is so stiff you walk on top of the straight fibers. Friends recommended Cranmore. I called and they came out almost right away. The man who arrived was jovial and efficient, telling us what he'd do for us and asking questions to make sure we'd be satisfied. He told us how much it would be, and it wasn't much more than the cheap companies that charge a base price for three rooms, but then add on this, that, and the other thing. We put the cat in the bathroom to wait it out, and the dogs went outside. We held our breath and it began. The man moved our furniture and worked as quietly as man wielding a compressor-driven cleaning machine can. He was done in a relatively short space of time. When he left, we had carpets that would need to dry for 8 or so hours, but oh, what a wonderful smell, and the next day, the dry carpets felt great underfoot. Thanks, Cranmore, for a job well done and worth every penny. We'll be calling you again.”
