Much of the history of the park comes from the Hanger family. They owned a dairy here in the area until 1973 when they moved it to Chandler. The roots of their family tree run deep in Tempe and Chandler.
I always love seeing kids (mine included) running and playing in this park. Basketball, a large playground and huge open spaces for all to enjoy.
(November 18, 2018, 8:13 pm)Charming park. Basketball court, soccer field, plenty of room for football. The kids will love the playground. Plenty of slides, a bridge, swings. All with barbeques and picnic tables surrounding. My kid had a ball.
