“The girl who went through my clothes actually held a conversation with me while sorting, then offered a decent amount of money, and explained clearly and politely why she had to reject the other items. She took all the stuff that was in good condition and the rest was donated. When I looked around as a shopper afterwards, I was impressed with the clothing condition and up-to-date styles. The only issue I had was in the inaccuracy of sizes, which is of course because the clothes are used and have gone through the dryer a few times. But it was an overall positive experience, and the store was clean!”

“I took my sister and her family to this location to celebrate her graduating with her Master's degree. My sister had never been here before and we have bragged about how dynamic this place is. She had a big bowl loaded with veggies, a tasty broth and "chicken". My nephew had the Hawaiian Burger with seasoned fries and I had the chickless saute & brown rice. The food is always so amazing and my sister let us know that she is now a fan!!!”

“Stopped in at Thai Basil for an early Saturday evening dinner. There were 9 in our party and they were able to seat us within a few minutes. The food and service were very good. We started with fried tofu, chicken satay, Tom yum soup and a crab dish. For dinner there was a variety of dishes including pad Thai, red, yellow and green curries and an egg plant dish. All were very good. If you're looking for Thai food in Tempe area, I would recommend Thai Basil.”

This place is very small so don't expect to find any food here but the clever partnership with the Thai food restaurant next door means you can order takeout and eat your meal at the bar! This place is very popular with the locals, so don't be surprised if it's busy during happy hour or during a Friday late afternoon. They have such a wide selection of beers, both local and imported, and have a great selection of wines too. It is connected to the liquor store, so this means once you're finished at the bar you can go next door to get a six pack of your favorite beer to enjoy later at home!”

I was hoping the espresso and my latte would be a little bit stronger but that might have been my fault for not asking for another shot Maybe. I'm used to A Little Bit Stronger espresso or a different pull from the Machine. But I like the little spot and it's very good for doing homework or having coffee. The only warning is make sure you know the parking situation, there's parking in the back and one spot in the front.”

“I have been going here for a year now and I must say that it has significantly exceeded my expectations in every way. And, the best part of Sharla's biz is Sharla herself. After parking my butt in an office chair for 30 years my back had deteriorated badly and I was in significant pain constantly that significantly limited my activity. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, arthritis in the lumbar spine, and a torn disc. I was in despair. I was somewhat resistant to start something like Pilates for a number of reasons. First, being right next to the university I thought that it would be a bunch of young college students looking at themselves in the mirror and each other, and there for something entirely different than I was. Secondly, i was concerned about cost. Thirdly, I expected a monthly membership fee, and a year long commitment. Well, none of these turned out to be the case. I would describe her clientele has having a relatively normal distribution of the population ranging from college students, to professors, to, retired people like me. Secondly, her prices were remarkably reasonable. Thirdly, there is no monthly membership fee. You pay as you go other than a discount if you purchases at least 4 sessions. And, if you need to cancel, or reschedule Sharla is remarkably reasonable and flexible. When I arrived for my first session Sharla did an evaluation. She took photos of me standing, recording me walking, etc. When she showed them to me I was shocked at what bad shape I am in. Drooping shoulder, one hip hitched up, bad posture, and a gate in which one leg swung forward rather than moving straight forward, etc. I was immediately impressed with Sharla's happy, cheerful, encouraging nature combined with her confidence that she was going to be able to fix all of this. I was a bit skeptical initially at just how much we would be able to accomplish. Just a few months into it I was already feeling much better. And, drooping shoulder was gone, gate and posture were more normal. Now I was a believer. I've continued to go regularly, and after a year now as amazing as this is to me my back feels like I'm in my 20's again. I have been so impressed with the progress that I recently asked Sharla to expand our program to include overall fitness and strengthening. We're working on arms and legs as well.”

“We had just gotten off a flight from JFK and were starving. It was after 9 p.m. so there weren't alot of our usual restaurants open. The restaurant was clean and the service was jolly on the spot as soon as we entered. We all noticed the music was somewhat loud and in tune with the college crowd, which is their main customer base in this area. We also noticed if we didn't specify an item we wanted on our Burrito, they'd pass it on down the line, so we had to back them up a couple of times to get corn, cheese and peppers and onions. Overall, the same consistent Chipotle food as we were used to. Lot's of food for a good price.”

“I love coming here! Each time I've ordered a hot drink and gotten a cream heart. The coffee is just sweet enough to be good while not being over saturated with syrup. Atmosphere can be crowded due to college student studying, and the wait of 3-7 minutes may not fit those in a rush. I've come both time on a day off so neither bothered me.
