“I walked on part of this path from the Phoenix Zoo/ Papago Park area (next to the Hole in the Rock). It's concrete and nicely paved. Unfortunately, there wasn't much shade. Didn't see many hikers, most a few bikes going along the trail. It got hot, so I had to turn back. Edit: This path apparently also extends to Scottsdale (not sure if same one but did see the labeled sign along the path.) I was able to access this path from the G.R. Herberger Park. There were some nice trees in blossom along the way, however this part of the trail was close to the street- so a bit noisy.”

“Great property. Front desk staff was friendly, albeit somewhat limited in efficiency as they seemed to be having some delays with their computer system. They handled this with grace and charm. The bartender was very professional, greeting every customer and even though during my week long stay I only went to the bar 2 times, he remembered by drink choice. The rooms are clean, spacious and seem to be recently renovated or just new. The mattress and sheets are very comfortable. The shade on the widow is more of a Roman style shade, which is great for those of you who cannot sleep if there is any light coming through. These provide total blackout conditions. There is a weird blinking light though on the fire alerting system which strobes throughout the night (nothing a hand towel thrown over it cannot handle). When I had housekeeping services, the cleaned the room well but were not as thorough in replacing coffee cups and bottled water. The location is well situated, and because it’s set back from the main roads, it is quiet and peaceful. I’ll certainly stay here on future trips to Tempe and recommend this location to colleagues.”

He set me up with the right information so that when I went into the store I knew exactly what I wanted. Also the VIP program is amazing here, I wouldn't buy a pair of shoes without having the VIP program first, you get so many benefits from free exchanges, random store credits throughout the year, they're literally handing me free money in the form of store credit multiple times a year. “This small bar and grill in south Tempe was pretty good. Limited table seating and has a group high top table in the middle. There is a small patio area area on the road side. There is a bar on the other side of the building with a separate entrance and they share the kitchen. The food offerings are a mix of sushi, Korean, and regular Japanese fare. Very tasty with a lot of flavor. Seaweed salad was a little squishy. Tempura is served in the fry basket with dipping sauce. Service was very good. The only ding I’d give it is that it’s very loud. Part of that is design and part was the collection of drunk college girls on the high top that kept falling off their stools. I’m guessing they should have been cut off the booze.”
