“Love the service but people with small children need to be more considerate of others and step outside when their children won't stop crying. Also the ushers need to pay more attention to making sure that the collection baskets make it around the entire church. The ushers are more concerned about making sure you take you are taking the body of Christ correctly when it is handed out. This is not their job, if anyone needs to address this, it is the Father.”

“I have been going here for years, involved in a variety of ways. It is an imperfect church (the body of Christ being made up of imperfect people, who recognize their imperfection and need); who are at all stages of growth, seeking to come together at different places to follow Christ as a body of believers, under leaders who are imperfect and also growing. Take a walk through the New Testament, and you see the same. I am giving it 5 stars, not because it is perfect; or has been perfect in its growth (just as I haven’t); but because I see it persevering in the faith; aiming at a vision in following Christ to carry out the ministry he has called us to; taking steps in ministry to touch lives in a positive way and glorify Him; learning and growing from mistakes (even leadership); and I have found I can be heard (not necessarily meaning others always agree). It is not just my way that matters; as I am called into a fellowship to give and serve also; alongside others with different personalities and gifts. This fellowship has touched many people’s lives in a positive way; many not a part of this fellowship; and reached out to the community and beyond (down by the border, involvement with and supporting other ministries, outreach). Here is a personal note. As grandparents who bring two grandchildren; we are so thankful for those who give so much time to the children’s ministry. My great-grandson can be challenging (having some special needs). Those serving in his class have many children (not just him); and as grandparents; we can be a bit prejudiced. They have shown so much grace, and communicated with us. I know it is hard to please everyone when accounting for care of their children; but I see those serving as going above and beyond in seeking to do this.”

“I love love this store and why because it is reasonably priced nothing in this store is overpriced and with this inflation that is a good thing to note. Also there are some unique items in the store in the cosmetic and jewelry line that are also very reasonable. I never walk out empty-handed and never feel I overpaid. One last note here to be aware of when you are checking out you are treated with the utmost courtesy I mean they really go out of their way to be friendly and pleasant and that is very refreshing.”

I've always felt hesitant about going to churches afraid of being judge for wearing all black, as I was judged in my hometown. When I came to this church I felt God speak to me. Worship through art and music is beautiful. It helps me to see beauty within everything around me. I feel that I can be myself completely and am reminded every week God loves me as I am. If God has a problem with me he will fix me and the Grove reminds me to give everything to God every week. This is the only church I've gone to where I felt like it's just God and I, and no one else's opinion matters.”

As a Utah resident there is nothing like AMC close to home so we find ourselves traveling to the Phx area several times a year with no other reason than to fellowship, worship, and learn at AMC. This congregation has become like a family and they’ve more than welcomed us in. We maintain frequent contact and friendship even though we’re hundreds of miles apart. The teaching is solid and Biblical and the Rabbi and pastors are very knowledgeable and educated as well as caring and genuine.”
